Best Way to submit sitemap in Google or Bing

An introduction to Sitemaps:

Basically sitemaps are the info of your all Blog posts. Sitemaps are the best way to tell search engines about your blog posts. 

Submit sitemap to Google and Bing so they will know about your content and posts, so whenever some one search on Google or on Bing, your post may be SERP(Search engine result page) depending on the quality of your post and linked backs.

In the Previous  post we learned that how to verify blog to Google webmaster Tools.
Now in this post we will learn how to submit sitemap to Google and Bing,
Before you sitemap to Google you can also text your blog sitemap.
Once you successfully submitted your blog sitemap, then search engines will be able to Crawl and index your Website.

How To Submit sitemap to Google:

1. Go to Google webmaster Tools
2. Login with your Google/Gmail username and password.
3. A list of your Blogs will appear,select a blog.
4. Click on Optimization at the Left side and Then click Sitemap.
5. There you will see Submit Sitemap button click on it
6. And type the following and click on Submit Sitemap button

/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

Now your post and pages will be indexed to Google, it may take a few minutes to be indexed.

How to Submit Sitemap in Bing webmaster Tools:

1.you must have a Microsoft id.
2. Go To Bing webmaster tools
3.Click on your blog, and then click on crawl and then click on submit sitemap.
and paste the following code.

/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

 Finally click on Submit Sitemap.
